At the Population Health and the Role of Nursing Conference, presented by the Maryland Healthcare Education Institute (MHEI) and the Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives (MONE), Senior Consultant Kim White presented on The State of Population Health. She reviewed preliminary findings from the national State of Population Health Survey that Numerof is conducting in collaboration with the Jefferson School of Population Health.

This survey is the most comprehensive effort yet to compile a “snapshot” of the progress of healthcare delivery organizations toward a value-based model of care delivery.  Attendees heard key findings from the survey involving in-depth interviews with over 150 healthcare executives from across the country.  Kim also discussed implications and opportunities for nursing as they transition from fee-for-service to a value-based environment.
