How can ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) drive more revenue? One of NAI’s consultants, Kim White, M.B.A., offered her insights into how ASCs can maximize reimbursement this month in Becker’s ASC Review. According to Kim, having the data to demonstrate the value an ASC offers, translated into terms that stakeholders like insurers and patients care about, is crucial:

“Your outcomes should demonstrate how you differentiate yourself from others,” she says. “You want to demonstrate to the consumer and the payor how you are different and why you should receive the compensation that you ask for.”
